I started the transformation to a new me. It started as a weight loss journey but shortly after starting, I realized that it's not a weight loss journey; its a lifestyle change! I welcomed these changes with portion control, staying under my calorie intake and also making the gym part of my daily routine.
Side note: I have NEVER been one to go to the gym!
I made it my goal everyday to really watch when I put into my body. I don't want to be the skinniest girl in the world. I want to be healthy. I want to feel good in and out of my clothes. I also make it a point to log into My Fitness Pal (MFP) to track my food everyday. It makes me accountable for what I'm putting into my body and how many calories I have to go so I can make healthy choices during the day.
This journey will not always be easy, as I have come to find out, but as long as I keep telling myself that this journey is a lifestyle change and its a slow and steady one, I
With that said, because today was a very exciting weigh in! I am officially 13lbs down!!
