Got to the gym today. Was there for an hour and 10 mins. 

Treadmill - 30 mins (156 cal) 3.3 - 3.7mph
Bike - 30 mins (40 cal) basic 
Elliptical - 10 mins (50 cal) 

back tomorrow morning -- plus a weigh in!!!

Thursday - November 10, 2011

Today was the first day I've been to the gym this week. I took Monday and Tuesday off from being sore from Sunday's workout and then Wednesday was a late day with the littles. 

Today I walked on the treadmill for 45 mins - 156.2 calories burned. I went back and forth from 3.3 - 3.7mph on the treadmill. 

I will go back again tomorrow! I'm pretty excited I still have motivation and I still enjoy going to the gym after almost a month! WOO! HOO! GO ME!! 

I've decided I will only weigh in once a week (on Saturday mornings). I don't like to see the up and down of the scale so if I do it once a week then the up or down is from my choices during the week.

Saturday - November 5, 2011

Finally was able to get back to the gym this week. I did 45 mins today and I could definatly tell I had not been in a week. I also did a weigh in this morning after working out and before I ate.

Here are today's stats: 
treadmill - 86.5 cal 30 mins
stepper - 65.3 cal 15 mins
weigh in: -1.5 lbs! :)

I may go back to the gym this evening after Mike goes to work since he has to work all weekend. :( Off to mow the lawn!

Today's workout went pretty good. I worked out for an hour b/c I have to get ready for tonight but I wanted to blog before I forgot. 

Treadmill for about 30 mins - 86.7 calories at 3.3mph
Stationary Bike for 30 mins - about 86 calories with resistance going from 1 - 13...ouch! LOL 

AF showed today so I'm going to wait til tuesday to weigh in b/c I'm super bloated..thanks AF! :(

Friday - October 28, 2011

Today actually marks day 4 for working out at Anytime Fitness this week. I'm feeling really good about how I'm sticking to it and I actually look forward to going. I feel so much better after I leave the gym. I think next week I'm going to start adding 10 mins for the next 3 weeks and by the end of middle of November I will be working out for an hour and a half. 

Today I walked at a 3.5 mph pace for 45 mins with a 3 min warm up at 2.0 mph and a 5 min cool down at 2.0 mph. After walking I did the elliptical for 15 mins. I can tell a difference already just in the little over a week I've been working out. I can't wait until my one month mark comes to see the difference!

Welcome to my journey

I will just start from today. I'm going to keep track of my workouts and weight loss on this blog. I hope that I can reach the goals I have for myself. 

So far I've been working out since October 19, 2011 and have lost 4 lbs since then. I lost about 2 lbs before starting the gym routine so I'm down 6 lbs in about 3 weeks! 

I work out at Anytime Fitness and I love it there. Its a very welcoming and friendly gym.
